Music Day at Bedales February '25
Here is a synopsis of the day by one of our students who attended:
'On Wednesday 12th February, a group of kids went to the Small Schools Music Day at Bedales.
They arrived and went to the hall before going through to a small orchestra; there were cornets, trumpets, drums and loads more. It wasn't just Sheet, there were other schools too, including Froxfield, Steep and Langrish and we worked together to play 2 songs. The first song they practised was called in C and this was followed by a medley combining a bunch of famous, classical songs to make one song.
They had multiple breaks, like break time, lunch time and brain breaks. They even had a break where they got to see animals. Sheet especially liked the main teacher because he broke it down into parts so it was easier.
Before long, the parents came piling in to watch the kids perform their 2 songs and everyone said it was the greatest day of their life.'
