Key Stage 2 had a fabulous trip today focussing on ‘Rivers’ and ‘Coasts’.

They spent time at Fishbourne pond looking at sources, confluence, deposition and erosion, sketching the site and recording the features of the river and surrounding habitats and the meadows.

They spent time at Dell Quay looking at tides, the human and physical features of the harbour and the impact on the coastline and natural environment. They looked at sea defences and coastal erosion.

A fabulous whole school trip following Key Stage 1’s trip on Tuesday. A huge thank you to the staff particularly Mrs Philpott who organised the trip and all of the parents who came with us to help.

A lot of learning, new experiences and fun had!
