Team A Match Report
When we arrived we all had high hopes. Our first game, we played Bedales Green Team, we won 3-0 Jeremy, Wilfred & Edison. On our next game we played Langrish and Langrish has a really strong team, George C scored and so did Wilfred, Langrish scored one and the scores were 2-1. We played Sheet Team B and we won 3-0. Harting was the hardest team we played and we won 2-0. We had a break for 20 minutes and after we played Bedales Red Team we drew 0-0. I saved a penalty in this match. We next played Froxfield and won 1-0.
Our children absolutely knocked it out of the park with their performances over two fantastic evenings. The talent on display was simply breathtaking, and I couldn't be prouder of our young stars. A massive thank you goes out to Mrs Repp for her incredible work on the backdrop, outfits and that show-stopping dragon! And of course, we owe a debt of gratitude to Mrs Hines, who truly makes the magic happen. Be sure to check out the photo story to relive all the Shrek-tacular moments!
The sun shone brightly for our lovely reception children this week as they enjoyed their final trip of the year to Marwell Zoo. Linked to their topic on Africa and African animals the children had an amazing time learning about and looking at animals such as: Snow Leopards, reptiles, meerkats,
rhinos and snow leopards. The hot day was reminiscent of the Savanna and an exhausting, fun and educational day out.
On Wednesday, Year 4 and 5 visited Wylds Farm for a fabulous Shakespeare workshop which introduced them to Romeo and Juliet. After a warm up and whistlestop run through of the play, with various children taking on different roles, we headed up to the main stage area to meet with the actors and choreographers. After hearing from the actors about the roles they play and different acting techniques we tried our hand at them, beginning with choreographing our own dance to the same music that the actors use in their play. The highlight of the visit was being taught how to safely engage in stage combat - from hitting, slapping and hairpulling - including actions, sound effects and facial features! Before we left, the actors performed a fight scene from the play which brought to life the techniques that they had been practising. A great end to a great visit.
What an exciting time our Year 4s have had on their annual camp! They've been roughing it on the school field, enjoying a delicious fish and chips dinner, and tucking into a massive breakfast this morning. As you can imagine, there are some tired faces around today - I think sleep was in short supply last night!
I'd like to give a huge shout-out to Mrs Philpott, Miss Buxey, and Mrs Hines. They're absolute stars for working today after a night under canvas. Your dedication is truly appreciated!
It's wonderful to see our students creating lasting memories and embracing new experiences.
Well done Year 4!
The lovely year 2's had a fabulous morning at TPS yesterday. The sun shone the games flowed and great fun was had by all.

On Thursday 5 of us went to Horndean Technixal College. First when we got there we went outside to do PE which was 'capture the flag' and it was super fun as there was a bib and non-bib team trying to take all of the other team's plastic bottles. Also as a bonus the facilities were very clean!
Nine amazing members of the school took part in the opening ceremony of Sheet Village Olympics at the weekend. With the help of our lovely parent Mrs Northey, Mrs Robinson and the children made up a small dance to the Chariots of Fire theme tune. What a success it was, we also had a lot of fun with red white and blue spray paint!
Well done to the children - I think you made Sheet Village very proud.
