Kestrels Trip to the Natural History Museum

Report by Benjamin, Yr 6

On Tuesday 11th March, Kestrels class travelled all the way to London on a coach to the Natural History Museum.  When we got there, we went downstairs to an underground room where we dropped off all our stuff.  We then went altogether to the main hall and another room with a life-size statue of a blue whale!  We then split into different groups to see different exhibitions, such as creepy crawleys, or early man.  At 12 noon, we had lunch and then had a workshop about Evolution which means natural changes that occur overtime to different species of animals to match the animals' environment.  Finally, we collected our stuff and travelled all the way back to school at about 3 pm, arriving at 4.30 pm. Photos
