Welcome to Kestrels Class

Welcome to Kestrels – Autumn term 2024-25. A very warm welcome to our class – joined by Mrs Repp, Mrs Ward. This term there is so much to look forward to as we get stuck into World War two as our History focus, this also lends itself well to our computing topic – History of Computers and delves into the very first computers used in World War two. A visit to Bletchley Park is a must if you are in the area. During music, we will reminisce about the songs that got our country through this challenging time – keep your eyes peeled for a little concert when we have honed our singing voices!

As we progress into the second half of the term, we will look at the natural disasters of our Earth and find out how people react and deal with them. Of course, we will also be doing our daily mile – wherever possible, dodgeball, dance, gymnastics and basketball across the term, looking at typography and map making in art and rounding everything off with some seasonal cooking.
