Hello everyone,
First off, I'm bursting with pride for our Year 5 pupils who took part in The Petersfield Music Festival on Monday and Wednesday evenings. They showed incredible patience (waiting on stage for what seemed like ages!) and their behaviour was absolutely spot-on. But the real highlight? The way they sang their hearts out! It was truly a joy to see and hear. Thank you for all of the support from parents.
We've had some lovely visitors in school this week too. Miss Leney popped into Kingfishers class to meet the children, which was wonderful. It's always great to see new faces and build those important connections.
Speaking of new experiences, Mrs Beenham has been out and about on Forest School Training. We can't wait to see how she'll use these new skills to enrich our pupils' outdoor learning adventures!
Today, Kestrels class organised a fantastic Red Nose Day event! It's all part of their PSHE lessons on charities and making a difference. I'm so impressed by their initiative and enthusiasm. It just goes to show how much our pupils care about helping others.
Looking ahead to next week, we've got plenty more in store. Bruce from the church will be joining us for assembly, which is always a treat. Our sporty Year 3/4 pupils will be heading off to Bohunt for a rugby tournament - go team!
On the staff development front, Miss Buxey and Mrs Beenham will be brushing up on their maths skills with some training. It's great to see our teachers constantly learning and improving their craft.
We're also looking forward to our Infant Mothers Day Lunches - always a heart-warming event. And to round off the week, we'll be getting creative with Easter Crafts, led by the wonderful Mrs Deuble. There are still a few spaces on the Parent & Child Easter Craft Zen session on Friday afternoon (to book email jo.thecraftzen@gmail.com). And don't forget to get your tickets for our Easter raffle (£2 a strip), lots of great prizes to be won!
Every day brings new opportunities for our pupils to learn, grow and shine. I'm constantly amazed by their energy and enthusiasm and by the dedication of our fantastic staff.
Thank you all for your continued support. It's what makes our school community so special.

Until next time, take care and keep smiling!
Julie Robinson
