Dear Parents
What a magical week we've had here at Sheet Primary School! It's been a rush of festive cheer and exciting events, and I'm excited to share some of the highlights with you all.
We travelled to Guildford on Tuesday to watch a fantastic pantomime performance of Robin Hood. I was so proud to see our children displaying exemplary behaviour throughout the show. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved, filled with laughter and joy. Such a treat!
Speaking of joy, our Christmas lunch was a real treat this year. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Rachel in the kitchen for her hard work in making it such a delicious and memorable meal. The festive atmosphere was palpable as pupils and staff alike tucked into their Christmas feast.
And what's Christmas without a visit from Father Christmas himself? The excitement on our pupils' faces was truly heart warming as they got to meet the jolly man in red.
We were also treated to a spectacular ukulele concert from Herons class. Wow, they were brilliant! It's amazing to see how far they've come with their musical skills, and their performance left us all tapping our feet and smiling from ear to ear (Ukulele Magic!).
This morning, Dee Tickner was delighted to announce the winners of the Henry Adams diorama competition. The display of creative ideas was simply outstanding, showcasing the incredible talent and imagination of our pupils. A big congratulations to Enid in Year 3, who took the top prize with her fantastic creation! We also said a sad farewell to the Dudin family in our assembly.
As we wrap up this term, I'd like to remind everyone of the importance of our school values, which were celebrated in today’s assembly. These principles guide us in everything we do, both in and out of school.
With the holidays starting in just a few hours, I want to encourage all of you to take some well-deserved rest. Enjoy the celebrations, take care of your family and make the most of this special time of year. It's a chance to recharge our batteries and come back refreshed for the new term.
Speaking of which, we'll be back in school on Monday, 6th January, raring to go for what promises to be a wonderful spring term. I can't wait to see what new adventures and achievements await us in the coming months.
A very special thank you to our wonderful staff who go the extra mile for the children, our governors and YOU all for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Have a fantastic Christmas break, and I'll see you in the New Year!
