Hello everyone!
First off, I want to extend a big thank you to all our parents who attended the recent parent evenings. Your involvement in your child's education is invaluable, and these meetings are a fantastic opportunity for us to work together to support our pupils' growth and development.
Speaking of growth, our Herons have been spreading their musical wings! We were treated to a marvellous concert showcasing their newly acquired cornet skills. It was wonderful to see so many parents in attendance, supporting their budding musicians. Your encouragement means the world to these young performers. African drumming is up next on our musical journey. I can't wait to hear the rhythmic beats echoing through our halls!
Easter brought its own share of fun and excitement. Our Easter egg hunt was a huge success, with children eagerly searching high and low for hidden treasures. The joy on their faces was truly priceless!
We also had a special treat that was the cherry on top of our term - or should I say, the ice cream on top? The ice cream van visit was a delightful surprise for everyone and what a beautiful day for it to arrive!
However, amidst the end of term celebrations, we also had to say a bittersweet farewell to our lovely Mrs Childs. Her warmth, dedication, and passion for teaching have left an indelible mark on our school community. We'll miss her dearly but wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
Looking ahead, we have an inset day tomorrow. While the pupils enjoy an extra day of holiday, our staff will be busy with training focused on supporting children and enhancing our subject leadership skills. It's all part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible education for your children.
As we wrap up this term, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter break. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the sun continues to shine, giving us plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun and relaxation.
We'll be back in action on Tuesday, 22nd April, ready to kick off our summer term with renewed energy and excitement. I'm looking forward to all the adventures and learning experiences that await us in the summer term!
Until then, enjoy your time with family and friends. See you all soon!

PS: If you are a junior parent and you haven't confirmed your place at the Peter Pan theatre visit on the first week back, please do so now. We are buying tickets on Tuesday and will only buy for those who have said they would like to come. So please don't disappoint your child by forgetting to do it. We cannot buy extra tickets - just in case.
